Normatec Compression Therapy FAQs

How long does a session take?
Typical sessions run anywhere between 20-60 minutes. To receive the full benefits of NormaTec, we suggest using it for at least 20 minutes.

Can I use insurance as a form of payment?

No, we do not accept insurance policies. You can always ask your insurance provider if they can reimburse you, but we do not accept insurance for payment. Many of our clients use their health savings account cards just like a credit card.

What does it feel like?

The process feels like a very tight squeeze that works its way up from the body of the sleeve to the different chambers. This feels very relaxing and soothing. It is not painful but can be intense pressure.

Is there a temperature change?
No, there is not. Normatec uses compressed air generated from the motor that is connected to the hoses.

What should I wear?
We advise that you wear comfortable tight fitting clothes. The reason for this is at times the sleeves can compress and cause bunching of loose fitting clothing. This bunching can lead to discomfort.

What areas of the body can be treated?
